I'd posted earlier about an old Air Force plane that buzzed around our house a few times. Well, it came back by Sunday afternoon, and I had time to grab my telephoto zoom and get some pretty good shots of it.
A quick Google on the tail number gave me a clue as to identifying it; I even found a picture of this very plane. According to Wikipedia, the T-28A Trojan was a USAF trainer aircraft. This model likely never saw combat, and was instead just used to teach Navy and Air Force pilots how to fly. That's a much cheaper idea than all those F-22s I destroyed learning to fly.
It left after circling around a few times, so we sat outside and watched the rabbits while enjoying the warm weather. I got some pics of Jonathan and Marci; I still had the telephoto lens on, so the field of view even at 70mm (the widest it would go) was pretty narrow.
