Jeremy Dieterich A Chronicle of My Life

Been a while.  Jonathan is doing much better.  He's finally over his eye, ear, and sinus infections.  He's sitting up by himself just fine, and has learned to crawl... well, sort of.  He does an Army crawl that gets him where he wants to go; it's not fast, but it's enough to get him into trouble, messing with the stereo or going after remotes and power cords.  He spends most of his time either playing with his toys or jumping in his bouncer.

He's a pretty good eater too (he must not get that from me).  He's liked a lot of what's been thrown his way.  He's particularly partial to sweet potatoes; even while Marci was pregnant he'd bounce around excitedly after she ate them, so it's no surprise that he likes them now.

He and I have recently gotten to spend more time as just father and son.  Marci's been working some shifts until 7 or later, so on those nights I pick him up from daycare and I get him fed and bathed before Mommy gets home... or I try to, at least.

He's starting to get the hang of standing.  He's got a pretty good sense of balance, but he doesn't quite have the jist of stepping yet.
