Our bunnies continue to make an appearance from time to time. Here's one laying in our front yard, on the only patch of grass that's still that green:
This one is new. I took Jonathan outside for a minute and spotted her climbing on the tree.
As best as I can tell, she's a Texas Spiny Lizard (Sceloporus olivaceus). I say 'she' because, if I'm right, the males usually have blue spots on their bellies, which I didn't see.
Its behavior fits a Texas Spiny Lizard; they retreat up into a tree when they feel threatened, which I would guess a guy with a camera would probably do to a lizard.
