I was pulling pictures off my camera and noticed I forgot to document one of our recent home improvement projects. Saturday before last, we decided to replace our kitchen faucet because Marci was annoyed that her Pur water filter wouldn't fit on our old faucet. We bought the new faucet, and I set about replacing it, only to run into trouble shutting off the water. It turns out that the shut-off valves below the sink wouldn't shut off without leaking. Thankfully, Mom and Greg stopped by to help; Greg helped me identify the problem, and after a trip to Home Depot, we got the parts we needed to fix the faucet. While we had the water shut off to the house, I took the opportunity to re-reverse the faucet in the guest bath. Apparently, for a while (I guess years) the guest bath faucet was hooked up backward; cold on the left, hot on the right.
Here's the finished product. It works pretty nicely. Thanks again to Greg for all his time and help getting this working.
